The Egyptian national judo team occupied fifth place in the 2015 World Junior Championships in Abu Dhabi, in the team competitions. The Egyptians lost to the Russian team in the match for the bronze medal, with a score of 1-4.

Egypt’s team beat the Korean team in the first round 4-1. In the quarter-final, the Egyptian team defeated the Iranian team 3-2. Unfortunately, in the semi-final, it lost to the Georgian team 1-4.

The Egyptian team was represented by the following players: Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, Abdel-Rahman Mohamed (73 kg), Mohamed Safwat (81 kg), Adham Ramadan (90 kg), and Ahmed Wahed (90+ kg).

The team’s doctor, Mohamed Rashid, said Adham Ramadan suffered from chronic lower-back pain. Despite the unfortunate circumstances he went through, he managed to reach an advanced place in the African Judo Championship after training, and to represent Egypt in the Junior World Championship.
